ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 28 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of West Third Avenue, the 1400 block of East Tift Avenue and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Computer theft on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Hit and run on the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Five calls of thefts by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 1400 block of Sixth Avenue, the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Battery on the 600 block of Willard Avenue, the 1200 block of South Madison Street, the 900 block of West Residence Avenue and the 2800 block of Westgate Drive;
— Armed robbery on the 900 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 1600 block of Sunny Lane;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1000 block of Amsterdam Lane;
— Aggravated stalking on the 1600 block of Gadsden Drive;
— Possession of marijuana on the 2400 block of Barnesdale Way;
— Possession of spice/synthetic marijuana on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1100 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 1600 block of Sunny Lane, the 2800 block of Partridge Drive and the 100 block of South Jefferson Street;
— Criminal damage to property on the 100 block of Adelyn Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Wanted person on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Theft by taking on the 3900 block of Moultrie Road;
— Auto accidents on the 2900 block of Nelms Road, the 700 block of Philema Road and the 1400 block of Cordele Road;
— Assist motorist on the 1700 block of Moultrie Road;
— Suspicious persons on the 4500 block of Sylvester Road, the 400 block of Pine Bluff Road and the 1700 block of Oakhaven Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 1200 block of Williamsburg Road;
— Auto accident with injuries on the Liberty Expressway;
— Burglary on the 2100 block of Denson Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Fire drill on the 1700 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Unauthorized burning on the 500 block of Odom Avenue;
— Extrication of victims at the intersection of West Gordon Avenue and South Magnolia Street;
— Smoke removal on the 200 block of Adelyn Road;
— EMS assist on the 500 block of Pinson Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 64 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included one abdominal pain call, one allergy call, two back pain calls, one choking call, seven chest pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, two fainting calls, two stroke calls, two diabetic issue calls, five seizure calls, two mental health calls, one unknown call and 14 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included four auto accidents, six falls, one laceration, four assaults and one burn victim. Other types of calls included one local stand-by and two medical alert activations.
