ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 15 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Battery on the 1500 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Deceased person on the 1100 block of Joel Drive;
— Entering autos on the 1500 block of Whiting Drive and the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 800 block of South McKinley Street and the 1100 block of Eager Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Florence Drive, the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 300 block of Carriage Lane, the 1500 block of Eager Drive and the 600 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of Hudson Lane;
— Possession of marijuana on the 100 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1100 block of West Highland Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 15 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Animals running at large on the 100 block of Eight Mile Road, the 4800 block of Impala Lane and the 1700 block of Moultrie Road;
— Assist motorist on the 2000 block of Newton Road;
— Miscellaneous property damage on the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Inhumane treatment of animal on the 200 block of Redbud Road;
— Auto accidents at the intersection of Moultrie Road and Holly Drive, the 600 block of Holly Drive and the 100 block of Lovers Lane Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 700 block of north County Line Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Suspicious autos on the 4000 block of Pate Street, the 3200 block of Pinyon Drive and the 1500 block of Pecan Lane;
— Juvenile problem on the 800 block of Morgan Court.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Power line down on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Arcing electrical on the 2500 block of Forsythe Street;
— Assist police on the 1100 block of Joel Drive;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 400 block of the Liberty Expressway.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 54 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included two chest pain calls, one abdominal pain call, one well person check, nine respiratory issue calls, two fainting calls, two stroke calls, one labor issue call, one seizure call, one mental health call and 20 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included one overdose, two auto accidents, five falls, one assault and two gunshot victims. Other types of calls included one local transport and two medical alert activations.
