ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Aggravated assault on the 1000 block of South McKinley Street;
— Child in need on the 700 block of Indian Creek Drive and the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Robbery by snatching on the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Battery on the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue, the 1500 block of West Second Avenue, the 400 block of Lucille Street and the 1100 block of Highland Avenue;
— Runaway juvenile on the 2000 block of Cove’s Court;
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of West Residence Avenue and the 800 block of Cherry Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of East First Avenue and the 400 block of Flint Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 30 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Saturday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Abandoned auto on the 2900 block of North Jefferson Road.
— Auto wreck on the 1200 block of Stephen Lane, the 4800 block of Hill Road, the 2500 block of Fleming Road and the 300 block of North County Line Road;
— Auto wreck with injuries on the 4800 block of Hill Road;
— Burglar alarm on the 3900 block of Pecan Grove Road, the 100 block of Plains Drive;
— Burglary on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road, the 3600 block of Plumcrest Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 6200 block of Cordele Road and the 1200 block of McKenzie Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive, the 2900 block of Leary Road, the 3000 block of Sylvester Road and the 4500 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Family violence on the 600 block of Southgate Drive, the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Miscellaneous (railway arm down) at South Mock Road and Short Street;
— 911 hang up on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Suspicious auto on the 2400 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Suspicious person on the 600 block of Pecan Grove Drive, the 300 block of Pinson Road and at North County Line Road and Sylvester Highway;
— Personal welfare check on the 3700 block of Parr Road;
— Property damage on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— Theft by taking on the 6300 block of Hardup Road and the 3600 block of Council Road;
— Traffic arrest on the 2400 block of Oakhaven Drive and the 200 block of Harvey Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least two calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Power line down on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Unauthorized burning on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 53 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, two abdominal pain calls, eight respiratory issue calls, two fainting calls, one labor call, three seizure calls, two mental health calls, two cardiac arrest calls and 16 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included five auto accidents, five falls, one animal bite and one traumatic injury. Other types of calls included two medical alert activations.
