ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 38 calls on Thursday and early Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Armed robbery on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Burglary (first degree) on the 1700 block of Samford Drive and on the 1600 block of Acker Drive;
— Burglary (second degree) on the 2600 block of Pine Valley Road;
— Criminal Trespass on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive, on the 600 block of 11th Avenue, on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, on the 900 block of South Westover Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Kingston Court, on the 1800 block of Schley Avenue, on the 2500 block of Cardinal Street, on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Entering autos on the 200 block of Whitehead Drive, on the 1300 block of South Van Buren Street, 1000 block of Crawford Drive;
— False imprisonment on the 1200 block of Kingston Court;
— Forgery of a financial transaction card on the 1600 block of Maryland Drive;
— Injured person on the 700 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Lost property on the 100 block of Front Street, on the 200 block of Westover Boulevard;
— Marijuana possession on the 200 block of Thornton Drive, on the 900 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Marijuana purchase/manufacturing/distributing/sales/dispensing on the 1400 block of North Slappey Blvd.;
— Missing person on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Simple Battery on the 2500 block of Beachview Drive and on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Spice/synthetic marijuana/cannabinoids possession on the 200 block of Thornton Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1200 block of Dawson Road, on the 300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by taking from a motor vehicle on the 2800 block of Falcon Lane and on the 600 block of Burke Avenue;
— Theft by taking (less than $1,500) on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road, on the 1300 block of 7th Avenue, 2200 block of Broad Avenue;
— Warrant and suspicious report on the 100 block of Jackson Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 18 calls on Thursday and early Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Animal call on the 1800 block of Melk Lane;
— Auto wreck on the 300 block of East Park Court (auto struck house), the 5700 block of Newton Road, 4400 block of Acree Avenue;
— Building check on the 3700 block of Countryside Drive;
— Burglary alarm on the 400 block of Lumpkin St., the 2400 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Contact person on the 2600 block of Winifred Road (civil question);
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Brown Street;
— Family violence on the 4100 block of Vanderbilt Drive;
— Holdup alarm on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;
— Mental issue on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue (self harm threat);
— Speeding auto on the 3500 block of Moultrie Road;
— Suspicious person on the 2700 block of Spellman Drive;
— Traffic arrest on the 200 block of Moultrie Road;
— Traffic control (signal out) at Sylvester Road and Branch Road;
— Traffic light out (power outage) at Sylvester Road and County Line Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 800 block of Shelton Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Thursday and early Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Arcing electricity on the 300 block of South Cleveland Street, the 800 block of West Society Avenue;
— Activated alarm on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Auto wreck at Dawson Road and Whispering Pines Road;
— Medical assistance on the 2300 block of Meadowbrook Lane (cardiac arrest), the 200 block of Arbor Court (person fell);
— Public service (station tour) at 320 N. Jackson St.;
— Smoke from school bus (belt broke, no fire) at South Westover Boulevard and West Oakridge Drive;
— Stove fire on the 500 block of North Jefferson Street (vacant building; no fire found);
— Unauthorized burning on the 900 block of Mercedes Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 53 calls on Thursday, available reports indicate.
Of those calls, 43 medical ones included six for chest pain, seven respiratory issues, 17 general sickness complaints, one back pain, one headache, one stroke, three OB issues, two seizures, two mental health issues, one 1 cardiac arrest, two unknown/man down call.
The trauma calls included two auto wrecks, five falls and two assaults. Other calls included one out-of-town transport.
