ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Entering auto on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 2400 block of West Doublegate Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 100 block of East Road, the 2200 block of Wycliff Lane, the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 700 block of West First Avenue and the 400 block of Dorsett Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Burglary on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue, the 1500 block of Eager Avenue and the 300 block of South Harding Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue and the 100 block of Mossydale Lane;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of Beachview Drive;
— Possession of methamphetamine on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Illegal dumping on the 500 block of 16th Avenue;
— Suicide attempt on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Child molestation on the 2600 block of Radium Springs Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Injured animal on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Terroristic threats on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road and the 3800 block of Leary Road;
— Theft by taking on the 3600 block of Radial Avenue;
— Abandoned auto on the 4800 block of Gillionville Road;
— Burglar alarm on the 3600 block of Radial Avenue;
— Overdose on the 2900 block of Lonesome Road;
— Tree down on the 1800 block of Mud Creek Road;
— Noise complaint on the 3100 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious auto on the 2000 block of Oakhaven Drive;
— Suspicious person on the 2500 block of Fleming Road and the 5400 block of Newton Road;
— Traffic stop on the 1700 block of Nelms Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany fire Department responded to at least two calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Water leak on the 800 block of Mercer Avenue;
— Arcing electrical on the 2000 block of Newton Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 54 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included six chest pain complaints, 10 respiratory issues, two abdominal pain complaints, one eye problem, two strokes, one diabetic issue, one labor, three seizures, three mental health issues, two unknown problems and 11 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included two auto accidents, seven falls, one assault and one gunshot wound.
