Albany/Dougherty police and fire reports for March 28-29, 2016

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to 25 incidents on Monday and early Tuesday, according to available reports. Among the incidents were:
— Shoplifting on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, and the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Auto arson on the 2900 block of Rosebrier Avenue;
— Aggravated assault with firearm on the 2700 block of Pointe North Boulevard, and the 1100 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Property damage, second degree on the 2700 block of Ledo Road;
— Criminal trespass on 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Theft by Taking on the 1400 block of Schley Avenue, the 2900 block of North Slappey Drive, and the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Identity theft/fraud on the 2900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of South Davis Street;
— Simple battery on the 600 of South Shadowlawn Drive;
— DUI, less safe on the 1000 block of Van Buren Street and the 2300 block of Temple Avenue;
— Simple assault, family violence on the 1700 block of South Jackson Street;
— Suspended license on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 1000 block of Forest Glen Drive;
— Missing person on the 200 block of Cordell Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE DEPARTMENT: The DCPD responded to 31 calls Monday resulting in eight incident reports, according to available reports. Among the calls were:
— Motor vehicle theft on the 3000 block of East Park Court and the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Animal at large on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive, the 1200 block of Paul Lane, and the 5600 block of Paulk Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Auto accident on the 300 block of Mercer Lane and on the 3800 block of Leary Road;
— Burglar alarm activation, eight false alarms.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The AFD responded to at least 10 calls on Monday and Tuesday, according to available reports. Among the calls were:
— EMS call on the 300 block of North Jackson Street, 1900 block of Palmyra Road and the 200 block of Edison Drive;
— False alarms or no incident, seven at various locations.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Management Services responded to 74 calls on Monday and early Tuesday. According to available reports there were 55 medical calls, 16 trauma calls and three other types of calls.
Among the medical calls were: nine seizures, eight respiratory issues, four mental health calls, four cardiac arrests, three chest pain calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, one fainting, one altered mental status, one diabetic call and 24 various medical calls.
Among the 16 trauma calls were 10 falls, three lacerations, two auto accident victims and one assault.
Among the other calls were medical alert assistances and one assist with the APD.
