Albany mayor declares International Alpha Delta Kappa Month

ALBANY — Albany Mayor Dorothy Hubbard signed a proclamation on Thursday recognizing October as International Alpha Delta Kappa Month in the city.

ADK is an honorary organization made up of past and present educators who continue to contribute to the lives of children. Alpha Delta Kappa works to give recognition for outstanding educators, to build fellowship among educators, and to promote educational and charitable projects and activities.

Joining Hubbard in her office for the proclamation signing were ADK members Sondra Hurst, Tricia Marshall, Laurie Dilts, Barbara Akridge and Merita Ott.
