Albany NAACP names interim leadership

ALBANY, Ga. — Marvin L. Jones has been named interim president of the Albany-Dougherty branch of the NAACP, an email from the local branch stated Saturday night.
The Albany NAACP, with the assistance of the Georgia State Conference of the NAACP, also has named other individuals to leadership roles on an interim basis. They are:
— Kenneth Florence, first vice president;
— Diane Chattmon, second vice president;
— Veronica Thomas, secretary;
— James Pullum, treasurer;
— Machumus Harris, assistant secertary;
— Jacqueline Ramson, assistant treasurer.
The Albany office is located at 136 N. Magnolia St.
