APD searching for suspects in Dawson Road hair salon armed robbery

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Shabby 2 Chic Hair Salon, located at 1931 Dawson Road, according to officials.
“At approximately 8:25 p.m. on March 22, three armed black males entered the business and took an unknown amount of money then fled the scene on foot,” APD spokeswoman Phyllis Banks said in a news release. “There is no additional information on the description of the suspects at this time. The Albany Police Department will provide updates when additional information becomes available.”
