ALBANY — Antonio Walters Jr., 23, of Colquitt, has been arrested charged with murder in Saturday shooting death of Marvin Mikel Miller, 37, of Baker County, Georgia Bureau of Investigation officials said.

On Saturday, the GBI Sylvester Field Office and the Baker County Sheriff’s Office began a joint investigation into a shooting that occurred on Harden Allen Road in rural Baker County, according to GBI reports.

“Upon arriving at the scene, Marvin Mikel Miller, age 37, was found deceased,” GBI Special Agent in Charge Kim Baker said. “Miller was shot sometime earlier on Saturday.”

Reports indicate that Miller was shot multiple times. GBI officials said the shooting was the result of an earlier argument between Miller and Walters.

“Late Saturday afternoon warrants were issued and Walters was served,” Baker said.

Walters has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. He was booked into the Miller County Jail.
