UPDATE: Officials with the APD report that Tuff was found walking on the 200 block of Philema Road around 12:25 p.m. He appears to be fine but is being evaluated.  

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department is seeking the help of the public in locating a 14-year-old autistic boy who was reported missing from his East Albany home early Monday.

“The Albany Police Department has received a call regarding a missing autistic 14-year-old named Tadarian Tuff,” APD spokeswoman Phyllis Banks said in an email Monday morning. “Tadarian was last seen around 10 p.m. inside his Meadows Drive home by his mother.”

According to reports, the teen was wearing a gray hoodie, gray sweat pants and black shoes.

“He may also be carrying a black Under Armor backpack,” Banks said. “Tuff is verbal and is able to write. He enjoys playing videogames, has an attraction to shiny objects and may also hide. “

Anyone with information about the location of the missing youngster is asked to contact APD immediately at (229) 431-2132 or 911.
