ALBANY — Twenty-two students from six Dougherty County schools competed in the 2019 Southwest District Project Achievement held at Rock Eagle 4-H Center last week. The 4-H Project Achievement is a self-directed individual competition including presentations and a documented record of project work, leadership and service based on experiential learning activities. Youths have the opportunity to explore an area of interest and share their knowledge through a competitive process designed to meet youth development and age-appropriate standards. Projects are offered in more than 50 different areas with nearly every topic of interest or educational area available for exploration and presentation. Four high school 4-H members will move on to compete at State 4-H Congress held in July at the Crown Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta.
