ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 1400 block of Silica Drive, the 700 block of North Jackson Street, the 900 block of Cherry Avenue, the 100 block of Morningside Drive and the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive;

— Missing person on the 1500 block of McArthur Street, the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 1500 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Battery on the 1400 block of South Monroe Street, the 200 block of Wells Avenue and the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Saratoga Lane, the 1600 block of Gardner Drive and the 1500 block of west Highland Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Public indecency on the 100 block of Hobson Street and the 1200 block of Schley Avenue;

— Suicide attempt on the 2000 block of North Flintlock Drive;

— Deceased person on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Murder on the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Marijuana possession on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Terroristic threats on the 500 block of Longbow Drive;

— Obstruction of law enforcement officers on the 400 block of West Highland Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: the Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accident on the 4700 block of Clewiston Lane and the 1500 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Juvenile problem on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 2200 block of Duitman Road;

— Animal at large on the 600 block of Heartwood Lane, the 600 block of Sapling Lane and the 400 block of Lumpkin Street;

— Burglar alarm on the 2600 block of New Castle Lane and the 2500 block of Hibiscus Road;

— Road blocked on the 900 block of South East Liberty Expressway;

— Unwanted guest on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive and the 6000 block of James Drive;

— Civil issue on the 1600 block of Cordele Road;

— Bank escort on the 700 block of Philema Road;

— Injured animal on the 1800 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Recovered property on the 200 block of Pinebluff Road;

— Personal welfare check on the 400 block of Gaissert Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— EMS assist on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Smoke smell on the 600 block of Willard Avenue;

— Power line down at the intersection of Lakeview Road and North Valencia Drive;

— Passenger vehicle fire on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;

— Smoke detector activation on the 1900 block of Ridgemont Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 69 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included eight chest pain calls, six miscellaneous pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, three mental health calls, two altered mental state calls, two stroke victims calls, two cardiac arrest calls, one faint call, one seizure call, one labor call and 20 various medical calls. Trauma calls included seven auto accidents, four falls, two lacerations, one gunshot victim and one assault. Other types of calls included two medical alert calls.
