ALBANY – Albany Technical College will hold a dual enrollment pathways signing ceremony April 16 at 10 a.m. in the Logistics Education Center Executive Board Room, according to school officials.

Three dual enrollment students will sign at the ceremony to enter the college to complete bachelor’s degrees.

Kayla Smith, a senior at Westover Comprehensive High School, is dually enrolled in the business management associate’s degree program at Albany Tech. Gabrielle Webb, a senior at Monroe Comprehensive High School, is dually enrolled at Albany Tech in the pharmacy technology associate’s degree program. And Akendai Womack, a senior at Dougherty Comprehensive High School, is dually enrolled at ATC in the business logistics management associate’s degree program.

“The Georgia dual enrollment program is one of the best programs available for high school students in our state, and we anticipate growing our program each academic year,” Albany Technical College President Anthony Parker said. “Dual enrollment brings such value to Georgia families with students being able to accomplish two years of college while attending high school with no tuition charge.”
