Emily Thompson honored by Mercer University
Leesburg student receives four awards during Honors Convocation

MACON – Mercer University’s Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics presented Emily Thompson of Leesburg with four awards at the university’s annual Honors Convocation held recently.
Thompson, a senior majoring in both accounting and human resources management with minors in psychology and economics, received the Outstanding Award in Accounting, Outstanding Award in Human Resources, Outstanding Community Service and Civic Engagement Award, and Georgia Society of CPAs Certificate of Excellence.
She is the daughter of Cheryl and Michael Thompson.
