ALBANY — All that remained of the former Alzheimer’s Outreach Center facility on North Jefferson Street by midday Monday was rubble after a crew came in to demolish it that morning. The facility suffered severe damage as a result of Hurricane Michael in October, and had since been vacated. The center’s staff soon relocated to First United Methodist Church, which owned the damaged building, and Alzheimer’s Outreach officials are undergoing a capital campaign to establish a new permanent home.
