City approves Quail Unlimited alcohol permit; funds traffic light improvements

Albany’s signature conservation-based event has received a tentative nod of approval from the Albany City Commission for three one-day alcohol licenses for its Celebrity dinner and fundraiser.
Quail Unlimited has set its event for January 12, 13 and 14. During the day, various celebrities and bigwigs from around the country will come to Albany to hunt quail on plantations throughout Southwest Georgia before enjoying three different dinners at the Civic Center.
