The National Hurricane Center says Irma is no longer a tropical storm. The system moved through Georgia last night and this morning.

FATALITIES

Worth County authorities have confirmed the death of a man in south Worth County Monday. No other details were immediately available.

HOSPITAL

Many of Phoebe’s clinics and services are resuming operations on Tuesday. Elective and outpatient procedures will restart Wednesday.

MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE

Installation officials have announced the base will resume normal operations on Tuesday.

Personnel are reminded to exercise caution while driving to work due to hazards that may exist such as downed power lines and trees, blocked roadways, and inoperable traffic lights.

Employees with questions about their work schedule should contact their supervisor.
