ALBANY — Only a handful of tickets remained Thursday for comedy superstar Jeff Foxworthy’s evening of laughs at the Albany Municipal Auditorium to benefit victims of the January storms that devastated the region, according to Chatterbox Marketing’s Amy Rolfe.
The show is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday at the Albany Municipal Auditorium.
“The tickets have been going fast, and it’s very close to a sellout, but we still have 65 tickets available,” Rolfe said. “We’d sure like to sell them before Sunday. The Municipal Auditorium seats 965.”
According to both Foxworthy and Chatterbox, all of the proceeds from the show will be donated, via Mission:Change, to victims of the Jan. 2 and Jan. 22 storms that left much of the city in ruins.
Local musicians Anne Cline and the Evergreen Family Band are opening acts for Sunday’s show. Tickets are $45-$75 and are available through Ticketmaster outlets or at the Albany Civic Center Box Office. For VIP or corporate tickets, contact Rolfe at (229) 343-3029. Doors open at 5 p.m. Sunday.
