Lake Park Elementary students visit Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital
Elementary school students learn about healthy eating, volunteerism at hospital field trip

ALBANY — Julie Joiner, dietitian with the Phoebe Diabetes Resource Center, offered a lesson in healthy eating through activities, including a storytime, to children from Lake Park Elementary School visiting Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on Thursday. The visit included a walk through the hospital’s Centennial Museum and Phoebe Foundation, and presentations from Phoebe HealthWorks and Phoebe Volunteer Services.
