Lee Commission plans FY ’24 budget public hearing

LEESBURG — A copy of the proposed budget for the Lee County Board of Commissioners for Fiscal Year 2023/2024 is available for review at the County Clerk’s Office in the T. Page Tharp Governmental Building, 102 Starksville Ave. N., and on the www.lee.ga.us website.

Copies of the proposed budget are also available for public review at the Leesburg Library, 245 Walnut Ave. S., and the Oakland Library at 445 Oakland Parkway W., during normal operating hours.

The Lee County Board of Commissioners’ budget public hearing regarding the proposed FY 2023-2024 budget will be held June 13 at 6 p.m. in the Tharp Governmental Building’s Opal Cannon Auditorium. This public hearing is open to the public, and the public is encouraged to attend.

The Lee County Commission will adopt the FY 2023-2024 proposed budget June 27 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Cannon Auditorium. The public is encouraged to attend and observe this meeting as well.
