Man wanted by APD on charges of battery, cruelty to children

ALBANY — Randy Udone Cody, 34, is wanted on two counts of battery and cruelty to children, according to the Albany Police Department.

APD reports indicate that warrants were issued for Cody after he physically assaulted the mother of his children on Feb. 6 at an apartment located on the 800 block of Crawford Drive.

According to the victim, Cody hit her in the face and choked her in front of their children.

When officers arrived on the scene and attempted to take Cody into custody, he ran away. According to reports, officers gave chase but lost sight of Cody on the 600 block of Sands Drive.

Cody is 5-foot-9 and weighs 124 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, a medium complexion and has tattoos of tear drops, a heart, and an eagle and clouds on his left arm. On his right arm he has tattoos of praying hands and three hearts. On his neck he has tattoos of a cancer zodiac sign and the names Tiyaun and Shanna.

Cody’s last known address was 803 Crawford Drive, in Albany.
