Mt. Zion Baptist Church to host pop-up vaccine event

ALBANY — Mt. Zion Baptist Church is partnering with Albany Area Primary Health Care and Phoebe Putney Health System for a second pop-up vaccination event on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
AAPHC and Phoebe will have mobile units on-site to give vaccines to community members ages 12 and up. This event is free to the community. Attendees are only requested to bring a face mask and a form of photo identification with them.
Both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available for participants 12 and older. The vaccines will be administered in the church’s Multi-purpose Room at 901 S. Westover Blvd. Vaccinated persons are asked to wait 15 minutes after receiving their shot as a precaution.
