Pair claim King Day Dream Awards
Annual King Day event held at Albany State West Campus

ALBANY — A pair of recipients were honored with King Day 2018 Celebration Dream Awards at Albany state University’s West Campus Tuesday night.
Recognized at the annual King Day Celebration were Curtis Williams, an ASU professor and playwright, and the Gaines family received an award on behalf of Shirley Gaines, who was a part of the movement to desegregate Albany High School.
The keynote speaker for the event was former State Trial Court judge-turned-celebrity-TV judge/inspirational speaker Penny Brown Reynolds.
