Phoebe Putney Health System conducting job fair on Saturday
Representatives from various Phoebe departments will be available Saturday morning to discuss job opportunities

ALBANY — Jobseekers throughout southwest Georgia are invited to learn more about job opportunities at Phoebe Putney Health System by attending a career fair hosted by the health system on Saturday.
“This is a great opportunity for people looking to make their next career step a step up, and even for those who may be looking for their first job, to see what is available at Phoebe,” Blake Garrett, senior talent acquisition partner for Phoebe, said. “They’ll have a chance to meet hiring leaders face-to-face and learn more about various departments throughout our health system.
“We’re looking forward to this community outreach effort to educate people about positions currently open at Phoebe.”
The event will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. on Saturday in the gym at Phoebe Healthworks, located at 311 W. Third Ave. Once attendees check in, they will be able to walk throughout the exhibit area and speak to Phoebe leaders about jobs in various departments.
“Often, when people think of Phoebe, they think of clinical jobs,” Garrett said. “They may forget about all the business and support staff it takes to operate a large health system. While we certainly are looking to hire more nurses and other clinical personnel, you don’t have to be searching for one of those jobs to benefit from this career fair.”
Phoebe officials said leaders from many clinical departments will be at the job fair, but there will also be representatives from other areas including security and transport, Phoebe Family Tree and the contractors who handle food services and environmental services for the health system.
