Ride held to honor Marine sergeant

ALBANY, Ga. – On Tuesday evening, dozens of Marines along with roughly 300 area motorcyclists traveled motorcade-style from the main gate of Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany to the accident site on Cordele Road where Marine Sgt. Ronald Nabors died Sunday afternoon following a motorcycle accident.

The group planted a cross and an American flag at the accident site in a tribute to the fallen Marine, with officers from the Albany Police Department escorting the motorcade. The manager of the Pilot service station near the intersection of Clark Avenue and Cordele Road
