ALBANY — A wanted suspect in the recent Oakridge Pawn Shop theft has been arrested and placed in the Dougherty County Jail.

According to an Albany Police Department news release, Jeremy Hutchins, 30, was brought into police custody, but the AR 12-gauge shotgun he and another man were accused of stealing has yet to be recovered.

Hutchins and Raheem Lewis, 25, who turned himself in early this month, were suspects in the shoplifting incident at 305 East Oakridge Drive. At the time of the crime, the two men asked to see an AR 12-gauge shotgun. When the men were handed the gun, they ran out of the front door of the pawn shop and drove away in a white Chevrolet four-door sedan.
