Department of Corrections losing control of prisons? Five guards showed up for a shift to watch over 2,000 convicts last week. The norm is 1 to 480. I’d keep my doors locked and sleep with one eye open if I lived in Pelham. Or Morgan, Oglethorpe, Valdosta, Trion and Helena … Georgia for that matter.

Wow! Not only am I a published (Squawkbox) author, I caught Carlton in a homophone error, and he sort of apologized for it in Sunday’s paper.

APD could write a ton of parking tickets at the Publix store on Dawson Road. Albany’s rudeness is on display as cars are parked and left on the curb in front of the store clearly marked “No Parking.” In addition, cars are being illegally parked in handicap designated slots. Store management should also take action.

Remember that Christians are “works in progress” and are not perfect, but as such, we endeavor to treat people (that are inherently made in God’s image) with dignity and respect irrespective of gender, race, age, nationality, or economic status. History will bear witness to our futile attempts to honor and obey God.

I find it hilarious that these hypocrite Democrats complain about President Trump’s “locker room language.” Just listen to the garbage their people put in their rap music and Hollywood movies. Our president tells it like it is, and we should all fall on our knees and thank God we have a real man running things now.

Trump trying to negotiate a deal with Nancy Pelosi is like negotiating with a stone statue; all you get back is a blank stare.

I can’t believe these so called “journalists” continue to publish totally false stories and some people believe them because of politics. I will continue to get my news from the only honest news outlet: Fox.

The Squawkbox should be banned for printing any negative things that people say about President Trump. He is a great man, and people who are opposed to him should be herded up and run out of this great country.

If Trump is destroying our country, I hope he continues on his path of destruction, because we are a lot better off than we were two years ago under the former POTUS.

Inattentive Squawker, your “property tax” bill total only went up 8 percent, but that’s because the Dougherty County Property Tax portion, which is one third of the total bill, went up over 23 percent. Please pay attention and work on your reading comprehension.

Spectra Management Agency chose a greatly admired musical group (Three Dog Night) and the correct venue for the first concert under their management. If this is a sample of entertainment to come, Albanians and other south Georgians will respond.

Don’t negotiate with terrorists. End the Trump shutdown, then negotiate the wall.

Y’all keep on taking this garbage from these liberals, but real Americans are about ready to take back over this country. And we wouldn’t mind having Donald Trump leading us as long as he wants to.
