Squawker, I’m not sure on what flight you arrived to our planet. Here in Albany, in the rest of Georgia and all across this country, teachers are grossly underpaid for their work and commitment to educating our children. How bout some respect.

Mr. Lawyer, how much of all that settlement money went into the pocket of the client? How much went into your pocket and your firm’s account?

I never have understood the reasoning behind hitting the snooze button five times.

Ever since the Democrats took over the house, the Dow Jones has steadily dropped down. The Democrats are trying to destroy our economy.

Where are the funds coming from to support Stacey Abrams during her newest campaign? Has she paid off all her debts with these mystery funds?

One local store had so much trash, plastic bags and receipts blowing around the parking lot I almost tripped going in the door. Why can’t they use paper bags? Businesses that let trash build up or overflow are trashing the city and should be fined. Where is Code Enforcement?

Experienced as a past mayor in Fayetteville, Roger Marietta would be a caring efficient mayor. Yet, I don’t want him to run because his opposition would probably be unfair and mean. Albany politics has gotten nasty in recent years.

Trump releases sanctions on Russia but doesn’t demand Russia to release American hostage? More in-your-face and I-don’t-care proof Russia is more important to Trump than Americans. Trump’s supporters see nothing wrong with him selling out America.

I sure do miss my Saturday Albany Herald. Please, Mr. Herald, bring it back.

There are more reported fake crimes than at any other time in recent history. I wonder who or what might be causing that.

The Democrats are proving they don’t want to deal and they don’t want to negotiate.

Gov. Kemp included a $3,000 raise for teachers in the state’s budget. I wonder how long it will take Dougherty School Superintendent Dyer to find a way to reallocate all or part of these funds. Every penny should go to teachers.
