I enjoyed reading the article on the Travis Tritt concert. I didn’t go to it but was at the Three Dog Night concert and have tickets to Rick Springfield. I’m very glad that these shows are being brought to Albany.
Multiple tornadoes/straight-line winds and a hurricane in less than two years for All-binny. If God is mad at New York and California, how must He feel about the Good Life City/Sodom and Gomorrah?
Regardless of the proven worldwide failure of socialism we are witnessing a raging socialist movement in America today. Three U.S. Senators have proposed a plan to guarantee every American a government job. America’s new socialist political star, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is pushing for a 70 percent tax rate.
Really, B.J.? Just tell me, how is a liquor store in a residential neighborhood an enhancement to the community? How did the city override the county in this decision? For a city that wants to take the crime rate down, this certainly is not the way to do it. Respect your citizens.
Seems the “leaders” of the “protest” against the liquor store forgot to tell residents that the vote that was taken did not in any way stop the gentleman from building the store. It was just to add a drive-thru. These self-appointed “leaders” didn’t care about people knowing the truth, they’re just opportunists looking to con people who don’t know better.
President Pinocchio? Come on man, leave my man Obama alone. He is no longer the president, so show some respect.
Albany once was a great city led by men of vision and integrity like James Gray, Carl Gordon and Herbert Phipps, but sadly we are nothing but a septic pool of uneducated, illiterate, want-something-for-nothing, self-centered elected officials and citizens living in a crime-ridden community. This city and county will never again rise from the ashes.
Those complaining about wanting a grocery store instead of a liquor store in their neighborhood have no one to blame but themselves. No grocery is going to locate in a neighborhood with high crime for a number of reasons. Customers and employees are afraid to come there for fear of being robbed or assaulted, plus shoplifting and employee theft will likely be so high that a store will not be profitable. Nothing is going to change until the residents change the culture.
The Green New Deal is a bad deal that would cost Americans hundreds of thousands of jobs, destroy the economy and bankrupt the country.
People need to lay off Trump. He works as hard as any other president has. He is not a liar, nor racist, as people say, and there is no Russian collusion.
If you run for office as a Republican, include on your resume lying, stealing, cheating and adultery. Trump’s fake Christians love that stuff.
Why is the salary usually not posted in job advertisements? Everything you must have, some of the things you must do, and maybe benefits are listed. Money, the reason you need a job, is the invisible elephant sitting in the ad.
