Squawker, I guess you won’t believe how much man has influenced climate until Miami has drowned, most of New York City has slipped into the Atlantic, and California has tumbled into the Pacific. You may not see it, but our children and grandchildren will.

Since Lee County commissioners want to be transparent, it would be great to understand who is the bond company that is selling the bonds to raise capital for the Lee County Medical Center. Who supposedly is buying the bonds? Who is the developer building the hospital? Who will actually manage and run the hospital? It would be great to know.

Each judge and Congressperson should be required to take an ethics class each year and be required to repeat their oath of office. Many seem to forget the part about upholding the laws of our constitution.

I agree about trash near the Old Dawson Road and mall areas west to the Dougherty/Lee line on U.S. Highway 82. I have called about several dumpings and the trash/dump was removed. We should have pictures posted of all who are caught littering. I would like to have seen what the person that dumped their car trash in The Village Green shopping center looked like.

Great speech by President Trump at the State of the Union. He didn’t preach politics, he preached what was best for our country, unlike the delusional speeches Stacey Abrams and Chuck Schumer made.

The socialist Democrats spout their dogma of “diversity” of people. But with diverse people there will be “diverse opinions.” Those are not allowed. The very definition of oxymoron.

I was intrigued by the article about the Atlanta artist and am looking forward to checking out his exhibit at AMA. I question some of his comments in the article, but his art was definitely compelling.

A Georgia voting law (a good one) Stacey Abrams is fighting was passed by a Democratic legislature and signed by a Democratic governor. We need voting laws. Oh, but she wants every vote counted, legal or not.

For songbirds, the answer to feral cats isn’t sterilization but annihilation. The time to act has passed for all too many a bird.
