To say that Demetrius Young is the son of Mary Young-Cummings in no way makes him more desirable as a possible commission candidate. I guess we have short memories when it comes to the kind of official MYC actually was. And yet we named a park after her. Only in Albany.

I find it utterly amazing that, as reported by The Albany Herald, a young man at the City Commission meeting Tuesday spewed his rambling philosophy about “racism” while referring to Mr. Patel (who is Indian) as “those people” and saying he only hires “his kind.” Sounds like you’ve about got it down there on racism.

Here is is February 13 2019 and still no evidence of Russian Collusion by Donald Trump. Time to end the Witch Hunt.

I don’t have a problem with this T-SPLOST if our officials use it right, but I think I speak for a lot of taxpayers when I say we’re about SPLOST-ed out.
