If someone paints graffiti on someone else’s house or auto, it is vandalism. The same applies to rail cars; it’s vandalism, not art.
I may lean more toward the side of graffiti as vandalism, but I couldn’t help but admire the colorful artwork on those trains. I guess if the railroads don’t really care, why should we?
The Democrat-controlled media is so desperate to paint Trump as a racist that they will jump to air any allegation that comes out. When the facts come out about these hoaxes, no penalty is paid for their lack of integrity. Maybe a multimillion-dollar lawsuit will change that.
Thanks, city of Albany, for investing in new LED street lights in my neighborhood. However, I may need blackout curtains and a blindfold to sleep now. That bright light near my bedroom window has it looking like daylight out there tonight.
Squawker, you show me more than a handful of these “hard-working local farmers” who actually do anything more than tell their hired hands what to do and fill out paperwork for their entitlement subsidies, and I’ll admit I’m wrong.
Whatever happened to the self-imposed retail ban on Juul e-cigarettes that was announced in the fall?
We understand the Wall Street Journal was told that Dick’s Sporting Goods stores might close 10 stores due to the decline for the fifth consecutive quarter since the removal of semi-automatic rifles. Since they made that bone-headed decision, the pro-Second Amendment customers probably will never return.
Who does Marc Thiessen think he is criticizing our president’s action on the wall? President Trump did what he had to do to get a win, that’s all that mattered. The Democrats got schooled; who cares what some liberal might do in the future?
For a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself out by the handle.
If Albany/Dougherty passes the additional 1 percent sales tax, will it really cost them money? If I am buying a new pickup truck for $50,000, I can drive 20 minutes to Worth or Terrell counties and automatically save $500 (1 percent of $50,000) by buying there. Albany will lose their 3 percent of the 7 percent sales tax that they get now, or $1,500. Does that math strike a bell with our commissioners? I save $500, and the county loses $1,500.
The “border crisis” is now a national crisis. There are widespread outbreaks of diseases across the USA that had been long ago eradicated. The CDC says it was caused by people not being vaccinated — but doesn’t say who they are. They walked across the southwestern border. Trump did not cause the border crisis; the Democratic and Republican parties did.
I called Mediacom to complain about my bill that seems to go up every month. While talking with someone, probably at some far off place, I asked why my bill was going up. She said let’s go over your bill, item by item. I laughed and looked at the bill. Two pages, with 36 different entries with amounts ranging from 11 cents to $42.70. It would have taken all day.
