Tift Regional Health System adds eight doctors

TIFTON — Tift Regional Health System has announced that eight new physicians have joined its medical staff, representating specialties including anesthesiology, hospital medicine, neurology and obstetrics/gynecology.

The new physicians include anesthesiologist Nora Fine, M.D.; hospital medicine doctors Ali Araghi, M.D., Nugma Chadha, M.D., and Vince Faridani, M.D.; neurologist Deborah Stokes, D.O., and, obstetricians/gynecologists B. David Baddour, M.D., Rana Khalek, M.D., and Ana Hernandez, M.D.

Fine is an anesthesiologist serving surgery patients at Tift Regional Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and completed residency training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Araghi, Chadha and Faridani practice with Affinity Hospital Medicine and provide care for patients at Tift Regional.

Argahi, who specializes in critical care hospital medicine, holds a medical degree from the Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed residency and fellowship training in pulmonary medicine, critical care and sleep medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonology, critical care and sleep medicine.

Chadha and Faridani earned their medical degrees from the Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean. Chadha completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., and is board certified in internal medicine. Faridani completed his internal medicine residency training at the Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va., and is board certified in internal medicine.

Stokes has joined Affinity Clinic in Tifton and specializes in neurology. A graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Mich., she completed residency training in neurology at Oakland General Hospital in Madison Heights, Minn. Stokes is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology.

Baddour and Khalek are practicing with Affinity Physicians for Women, based in Tifton. They earned their medical degrees from the St. George’s University School of Medicine in the West Indies. Baddour completed OB/GYN residency training in Chicago at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and is board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology. Khalek finished her OB/GYN residency training at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Hernandez has joined The Howard Center for Women, a UOG Practice, in Tifton. Hernandez graduated with a medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela School of Medicine in Caracas, Venezuela. She followed with OB/GYN residency training at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, N.Y., and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
