Two killed, one flown to hospital in Worth County wreck
Collision occurred Friday morning on Scooterville-Tifton Road

SYLVESTER — Two people were killed and a third has been flown to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Worth County.
Officials with Worth Fire Rescue said the wreck occurred about 7:30 a.m. on the Scooterville-Tifton Road.
Details were sketchy, but officials said a truck and van collided. Both occupants of the van died, and Life Flight was brought in to transport the driver of the truck to a medical facility.
Notification of family members is pending, officials said.
Worth Fire Rescue, Tifton Fire Rescue, the Worth County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia State Patrol and EMS units responded.
