Vendors needed for annual Albany fireworks celebration
City completing plans for Independence Day extravaganza

ALBANY — Food and beverage vendors are needed for the annual city of Albany Independence Day Fireworks Celebration. The Albany Recreation and Parks department is currently taking applications.
The event will take place on July 4 with a pre-fireworks concert at Veterans Park Amphitheater, followed by fireworks off the Broad Avenue Bridge near Riverfront Park in downtown Albany. Vendor spaces are available along Front Street adjacent to Riverfront Park and Veterans Park Amphitheater. A fee of $100 is due along with vendor applications.
Applications may be picked up at the Recreation and Parks Department administrative office at 1301 N. Monroe St. adjacent to Tift Park. There will be no sales of alcohol or fireworks at the event. For further information, contact Kristin Caso at (229) 430-5222.
