CAMILLA — The Georgia Department of Labor will host a veterans career fair with the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council on May 16 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. The job fair will take place at the depot located at 212 Broad St. in Camilla.

The event is free, and organizers say more than 25 employers and resource agencies plan to attend.

For the job-seekers’ and employers’ convenience, veterans are asked to visit employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload or prepare a resume beforehand. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and driver’s licenses. Casual business attire is encouraged to improve the job seeker’s chances of being hired.
