VALDOSTA — With summer officially here, parents are going to need a go-to family-friendly destination, and Wild Adventures Theme Park may be able to entice them to drive to Valdosta with the addition of Hometown Days on select Sundays throughout the season.
“Hometown Days are our way of saying ‘Thanks’ to the communities that support us every year,” Wild Adventures Marketing Director Patrick Pearson said. “During these special Sundays, residents will be able to visit and save as we celebrate their hometowns.”
Park officials said that, during Home Town Days, residents of select cities will receive a $10 discount. It will begin on Sunday, when residents of Albany, the first Home Town Days city selected, can save $10 off the purchase of a general admission ticket, $15 off a new season pass or $25 off a season pass renewal with proof of residency such as a driver’s license or utility bill.
“Other neighboring communities will also be highlighted as Wild Adventures Hometown Days continue through Aug. 5,” Wild Adventures Public Relations Director Adam Floyd said. “We are going to be setting up shop in each community the Wednesday prior to their scheduled Hometown Day to offer special discounts on tickets, reserved concert seats and season passes.”
