ALBANY – One of two men wounded during a Friday afternoon shooting sparked by a dispute at an Albany convenience store has died.
Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler said the victim was a 23-year-old male. His identity was not released pending notification of his family.
“It looks like the other guy is going to be OK,” Fowler said.
The two were involved in an altercation at about 4:28 p.m. inside the 2824 Old Dawson Road Shell store, according to the Albany Police Department.
“It started with an altercation in the store and resulted in a shooting outside the store,” APD Public Information Officer Sylah Ferguson said.
