ALBANY — Phoebe Putney Health System’s Class A uniform program, provided by Affinity Apparel, has received the 2015 “Image of the Year” (IOY) award for the health care industry from the North American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD).

This award recognizes achievement in design, creation and manufacturing of image apparel. By receiving this award, Phoebe joins a group of previous winners such as Delta, Hyatt and BP Oil.

“This recognition is further validation that the Phoebe attire, which is so deeply ingrained in our culture, is indeed making a positive impact,” said Wernick.

The other categories honored by the 2015 IOY Awards include Entertainment Venue, Gaming, Hotels (multi unit and single unit), Restaurants (multiple and single location), Retail Establishment, Service and Industry, Transportation People and Transportation Product.
