ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 28 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Motor vehicle theft on the 500 block of Willard Avenue, vehicle recovered;

— Entering auto on the 500 block of West Society Avenue;

— Burglary on the 1600 block of Avalon Avenue, the 300 block of Shadowland Drive and the 500 block of Johnny W. Williams Road.

— Deceased person on the 1100 block of University Drive;

— Injured person on the 300 block of Flint Avenue;

— Criminal damage, second degree, a Ford Explorer driven into a building by a juvenile on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;

Domestic (unfounded) on the 1100 block of Colquitt Avenue;

— Criminal trespass (family violence) on the 1200 block of South Davis Street;

— Simple battery (family violence) on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;

–Assault (family violence) on the 400 block of Avalon Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 16 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Civil matter on the 800 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Theft of three inoperable vehicles on the 6600 Hardup Road;

— Drunken driving on the 4500 block of Acree Lane.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 15 calls including:

–Motor vehicle crash hazard clean up, two public service, unattended cooking, assist airport, trash fire, vehicle fire, building fire out on arrival, two active alarms, two grass fires, two electrical shorts and a medical assist.
