ALBANY, Ga. — Albany Police Department officers responded to at least 35 incidents Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Entering auto on the 1700 block of North Slappey Road, the 1000 block Exeter Drive and the 400 block of North Madison Street;
— Theft by taking of a handgun on the 600 block of Willard Avenue;
— Theft by talking metal and construction equipment on the 800 block of 21st Avenue;
— Theft by taking a pit bull dog reported worth $1,500 on the 900 block of South Davis Street;
— Identity theft on the 400 block of North Cleveland Street;
— A dog bit a juvenile on the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct, a man was stabbed in the arm on the 500 block of 10th Avenue;
— Soliciting money from a vehicle on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Aggressive driving on the 160 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;
— Burglary on the 1900 block of Groveland Road;
— Interference with child custody (family violence) on the 1200 block of Crawford Drive, on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue and the 1500 block of Cromartie Beach Road;
— Assault (family violence) on the 300 block of McCray Drive, the 1500 block of East Residence Avenue, the 2000 block of Clark Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 15 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Loud music on the 100 block of Dorris Street;
— Traffic arrest for speeding, open container of gin, possession of marijuana, less than an ounce, and driving on a suspended license on the 1500 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Domestic violence (battery simple) by a juvenile daughter on her mother on the 4500 block of Sylvester Road;
— Domestic violence (assault simple) by a juvenile daughter on her mother on the 2500 block of Imperial Street;
— Domestic violence (verbal) on the 2200 block of Willingham Drive;
— Domestic violence on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 79 calls on Monday. There were 54 medical calls, 21 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included, three chest pains, seven respiratory problems, one faint, two altered mental state, five seizures, two mental problems, two miscellaneous pain calls, one fever, one choking, one cardiac arrest, two stroke symptoms and 27 various medical. Trauma calls included nine vehicle crash injuries, nine falls, one lacerations and two fights/assaults. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least 10 calls, according to police reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Helen Road;
— Obstruction of an officer, interference with government property and criminal trespass on the 1400 block of South US 19;
— Assault on the 1500 block of Philema Road; disorderly conduct (family violence) on the 1300 block of Madeline Hill Court;
— Disturbance on the 500 block of East Stocks Dairy Road;
— Criminal trespass graffiti on the rear window of a 2004 Buick LeSabre on the 100 block of Pelham Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 49 calls from Friday through Monday including:
— Six smoke reports, nine activated alarms, three structure fires, four public service calls, two controlled burns, three grass fires, two false alarms, an animal rescue from a storm drain, extraction from a vehicle, four EMS assists, two electrical shorts, three unattended cooking calls, nine trash fires, a motor vehicle crash, an overheated air conditioner, a vehicle fire and unauthorized burning.
