ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 17 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Theft by taking on the 2200 block of Toledo Drive;

— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Cordele Road, the 300 block of West Highland Avenue and the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Interference with child custody on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;

— Cruelty to animals, a dog with a deep cut to the neck, on the 800 block of Dorsett Avenue;

— Robbery by intimidation on the 1000 block of Flint Avenue;

— Theft by taking a bicycle from a front porch on the 500 block of North Washington Street;

— Child molestation on the 300 block of Davis Street;

— Burglary on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;

— Motor vehicle hijacking on the 800 block of West Society Avenue;

— Missing juvenile on the 500 block of North Carroll Street;

— Recovered contraband, narcotics and a weapon found on a parking lot on the 1100 block of Newton Road;

— Battery (family violence) on the 200 block of Slater King Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 28 calls, according to police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Burglary, theft of $822 worth of pole saws, step ladders and a string trimmer on the 4100 block of Harris Road and theft of $237 worth of children’s sneakers on the 800 block of Shelton Drive;

— Abandoned vehicle, a blue 1995 Mazda Protege left on the 1500 block of Lily Pond Road was towed to an impound lot;

— Fraud, a possibly stolen money order was cashed on the 4500 block of Sylvester Road;

— Theft of $415 worth of copper wire rolls from trucks on the 5800 block of Newton Road;

— Family violence (verbal) on the 1700 block of Wildflower Lane;

— Terroristic threats on the 1700 block of Wildflower Lane;

— Traffic arrest on the 1300 block of Mock Road;

— Traffic crash with injury at the intersection of GA 520 and County Line Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 64 calls on Thursday. There were 37 medical calls, 25 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical calls included, three chest pains, five respiratory problems, one nausea vomiting, four faintings, two diabetic complaints, two seizures, one obstetrics, one mental problems, six miscellaneous pain calls, two cardiac arrests, one choking, one allergic call and eight various medical. Trauma calls included 13 vehicle crash injuries, 11 falls and one bite. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 12 calls, including an overheated air conditioner, five activated alarms, unattended cooking, two fluid on road calls, two EMS assist and a meter box arcing fire in a structure.
