ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 42 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Identity fraud on the 2400 block of West Doublegate Drive;

— Recovered motor vehicle reported stolen from DeKalb County on the 100 block of North Harding Street;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 400 block of West Society Avenue;

— Theft by taking a handgun and a puppy reported during an eviction on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;

— Currency forgery on the 1900 block of South Madison Street;

— Theft by taking a handgun on the 200 block of South Jackson Street;

— Rape of a child reported on the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— Battery on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Simple battery (family violence) on the 200 block of West Second Avenue.

LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least five calls Thursday, according to reports. Deputies responded to incidents including:

— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of East Century Road;

— Theft of a Craftsman pressure washer on the 100 block of Lumpkin Road;

— Theft on the 300 block of State Highway 32;

— Possession of alcoholic beverages and disorderly conduct on the 100 block of Creek Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to eight calls Thursday including a vehicle fire, three activated alarms, an electrical short, overheated truck brakes, an unattended cooking fire and an EMS assist.
