ALBANY — Albany Police responded to at least 31 incidents Thursday into Friday’s early morning hours, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Simple battery, a burglary victim hit a suspect on the 900 block of Riley Street;
— Entering autos on the 1300 block of Baker Avenue and the 100 block of Duke Lane;
— Burglaries on the 800 block of South Street, the 1000 block of Lee Street, the 1200 block of Rawson Circle, the 800 block of Sixth Avenue and 1000 block of North Van Buren Street;
— Felony theft by taking of a 1997 Ford Econoline van on the 500 block of West Roosevelt Avenue. The van was recovered with the windshield and steering column broken on the 400 block of Roosevelt Avenue;
— Simple assault, two counts, on the 700 block of Goodall Street;
— Simple battery on the 300 block of South McKinley Street;
— Deceased person, natural causes, on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;
— Child abuse on the 300 block of Vintage Road;
— Assault (family violence) on the 1000 block of Cleveland Street;
— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 300 block of Mock Road, the 100 block of Swift Street and the 3000 block of Habersham Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 26 calls Thursday, according to reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Battery (aggravated) on the 2600 block of Great Oak Street;
— Animal control, removal of two hogs destroying yards and posing a threat to residents, on the 5400 block of Kalmia Lane;
— Forgery, use of someone else’s credit card, on the 2100 block of Horsham Road;
— Burglary on the 2100 block of the Liberty Expressway.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency Medical Services responded to 44 calls on Thursday. There were 36 medical calls and eight trauma calls. Medical calls included eight chest pains, three respiratory problems, two faints, one altered mental state, two diabetic complaints, one seizure, two mental problems, one miscellaneous pain call and 16 various medical issues. Trauma calls included five vehicle crash injuries, two falls and one fights/assault.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least 13 calls Thursday, according to reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
— Recovered property, purse and contents, on the 100 block of Palmer Road;
— Deceased person, natural causes, on the 100 block of Keyridge Drive;
— Theft on the 2800 block of Ledo Road;
— Burglary (non-forced) on the 100 block of Winding Way;
— Fraud on the 100 block of Wood Drive.
