ALBANY, Ga. — Albany Police Department officers responded to at least 64 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Missing person on the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Possession of marijuana on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Felony theft by taking on the 1000 block of Holland Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 1900 block of 12th Avenue;
— Missing person, juvenile, on the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Burglary on the 500 block of 16th Avenue, the 700 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 900 block of Cherry Avenue, the 1400 block of Palmyra Road, the 300 block of Flintside Avenue and the 100 block of Old Blaylock Avenue;
— Discharging a firearm within city limits on the 600 block of Johnson Avenue;
— Felony theft of an air conditioner on the 1700 block of Hoover Street;
— Theft by deception on the 700 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Armed robbery on the 900 block of Corn Avenue;
— Injured person on the 600 block of Swift Street;
— Child molestation call on the 300 block of Tift Avenue;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 2300 block of Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of Hoover Avenue, the 1300 block of South Madison Street, 1700 block off East Broad Avenue, the 400 block of Gaines Avenue, the 900 block of Holloway Avenue and the 900 block of Jolly Court;
— Simple battery (domestic) on the 400 block of Alice Avenue;
— Vandalism (family violence) on the 500 block of West Westover Boulevard;
— Simple battery, assault (family violence) on the 2200 block of Gleneagles Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 35 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Traffic crash with injury on the 1100 block of Williamsburg Road;
— Traffic crash, hit and run into a vehicle on a parking lot on the 400 block of Westover Boulevard;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Fraud on the 2500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Recovery of a stolen 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix on the 2300 block of Willison Road;
— Theft supplemental report, a .38-caliber Charter Arms pistol reported stolen was found on the 1400 block of Antioch Road;
— Theft of less than $50 of two beverages and two sunglasses on the 5700 block of Newton Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 49 calls on Wednesday. There were 40 medical calls, seven trauma calls and two other calls. Medical calls included, four chest pains, five respiratory problems, nausea vomiting, one faint, two altered mental state, two diabetic complaints, two seizures, three mental problems, one allergic reaction, one miscellaneous pain calls and 19 various medical. Trauma calls included one vehicle crash injuries, five falls and one laceration. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least seven calls, according to police reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
— Two entering auto calls on the 1000 block of White Pond Road;
— Entering auto on the 100 block of Acacia Court;
— Harassing communications on the 100 block of Twisted Pines.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to six calls including:
— Six activated alarms, a smoldering laser machine, attempted kitten from sewer animal rescue (kitten kept running away), shed fire and a tree on fire.
