ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 52 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— CATV cable television theft at two unrelated apartments on the 100 block of Marie Street;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 700 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Theft by taking a park bench on the 100 block of Front Street;
— Recovered contraband; a prescription drug bottle with four oxycodone pills recovered from a parking lot on the 400 block of Westover Boulevard;
— Disorderly conduct; two women fighting on the 2500 block of Hilltop Drive;
— Burglaries on the 300 block of South Shadowlawn Drive, the 2200 block of Gillionville Road and the 200 block of West Fourth Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
— Disorderly conduct; fights on the 1200 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 2000 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Missing juvenile on the 1200 block of Eager Drive;
— Possession of drug paraphernalia on the 300 block of South Cleveland Street;
— Destroyed mailboxes on the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue;
— Interference with an officer on the 700 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Motor vehicle theft of a gold 2002 Kia Rio on the 800 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering an auto on the 800 block of West Society Avenue;
— Assaults (family violence) on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue and on the first block of Dobbs Drive;
— Aggravated assault and simple battery (both domestic) on the 1000 block of East Fourth Avenue;
— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 200 block of Butler Drive and the 1600 block Gadsden Drive;
— Battery (domestic) on the 1500 block of Avalon Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least six calls Thursday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Wanted person on the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West Third Avenue.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least 13 calls Thursday, according to reports. Deputies responded to incidents including:
— Assault on the 100 block of Cobblefield Drive;
— Disturbance (oral domestic) on the 1000 block of South U.S. Highway 19;
— Wanted persons on the 2900 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 1300 block of Evelyn Avenue;
— Theft, property recovered, on the 2800 block of Ledo Road;
— Theft of a camera on the 1300 block of U.S. 19;
— Two entering-auto calls on the 100 block of Northhampton Road.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 12 calls Thursday, including structure fire out on arrival, public service call, two activated alarms, a carbon monoxide detector malfunction, overheated air conditioner motor, two EMS assists, a trash fire, a grass fire and a short in a light fixture.
