ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 27 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— A woman looking for her husband at a motel on the 900 block of Radium Springs Road, where he lives, had a gun in her car, a police report stated. The motel clerk called the police.
“A white female came up to the motel looking for her husband and knocking on random doors,” the police report stated. “The woman left saying ‘since he won’t come out I’ll ride until I find him.’ “
The clerk noticed a handgun on the floor of the woman’s car, the report stated. The woman left and then came back past the motel.
According to the report: The officer followed the woman and pulled her car over. The officer then retrieved the gun and emptied it of bullets for safety.
