Sherwood Christian golfer Tyler Hanson wins state title

Sherwood Christian golfer Tyler Hanson won the GICAA state title after shooting a one under par 71 at the state tournament at Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge on Monday. The junior, a three-time all-state selection, is the first male golfer at Sherwood Christian to win a state title.
He joins Kelly Pearce, who won the Georgia Independent Schools Association’s Class AA girls state title in 2009, as the only two golf champions from Sherwood Christian Academy.
