“Do you have to be a conservative to be a Republican? Can you be a Democrat without being liberal? Can’t it be like a buffet where you can pick some from one table and some from the other? Because a candidate is from one party does that mean he is always the best candidate? Is there no room for compromise in our government any longer?”
